Feast your eyes upon this Bio-Fey-Steampunk story with inherent elements of the Gothic Genre drawn in a Theater Noir style about life, death, dreams, reality, and why you don't associate with Undead Cabbages.
This comic contains violence, gore, nudity, and controversial topics such as drugs, sex, religion, and the aerodynamics of a human kidney. Viewer discretion is strongly advised.

And Comics like that are the reason why I sometimes REALLY wished you updated twice a week. Is the ugly (well, not that ugly, but undead) truth finally going to hit home?

@Arkh Cthuul
There will inevitably come a day when I can update twice a week. Right now, I can't do it realistically. I maintain that it's better that I have a consistent, less frequent update schedule, that it is for me to pop out many updates for a while, lose my buffer, get shit-canned by life, and then let you guys down one Monday. The good news behind this is that when I one day upgrade this comic to two pages, I will damned well mean it.
My rant this week is for my fellow Canadians, although what I have to say applies to pretty much any democratic country in the world.
We have an election coming up soon (May 2nd). Now, I will not tell you how to vote. I think it's obvious that I'm not a Tory, but what you want to see out of our government is your own business.
But so help me if you don't vote.
We are living in a global context in which people are literally laying down their lives to have a democracy (Libya, Yemen, Egypt, etc). Have we really become such fat cats that we can't be bothered? If for nothing else, vote so as to not be a morally bankrupt sloth.
"It doesn't matter who I vote for, we're getting fucked by the system anyways"
Fucking.Bullshit.my friend, fucking bullshit. I'm going to call out defeatism towards democracy for what it is right now: a cheap, half-hearted excuse to not do your god-damn research. Get off your high horse, and actually see what the parties are offering. I recommend using Google News, and checking at least three different news papers on each subject (so as to avoid bias). More specifically, I read the Toronto Star, The Globe and Mail, and CTV to get my left-wing, center, and right-wing points of view. If I want extreme left or right, I read CBC or the National Post.
"Bah, he's just a FIBeral/CONservative"
Do yourself a favour and actually study some Canadian history. Find me two Prime Ministers from the same party that actually governed the same way, and we'll talk. The stereotypes branded onto each of the parties are an unfortunate side effect of campaign rhetoric. They're false. Just because the well is muddy, that doesn't mean you get to piss in the well.
"Elections are expensive"
Let's do a little math here. The 2008 Election in Canada came to just under 290 million. There are roughly 33.7 million Canadians in our country. You're honestly sweating the $8.60 so that you can exercise your democratic right? I hope you're aware that federal budgets include programs that cost BILLIONS of dollars. So for instance, a hot topic in Parliament is those Stealth Fighter Jets. They have a budget of 30 Billion dollars, coming to roughly $909 for each Canadian. Elections are a drop in the fucking bucket, ladies and gentlemen.
So basically, here's my loving message to your all.
Quit-yo-bitchin'
Do your research
Keep an open mind
Mother Fucking Vote.

Mackenzie King and John A. MacDonald ran the country in similar fashions.

@ Check my doubles
Always good to see another Canuck on the boards. Where you from Check?
Well, I don't mean to be a dick, but technically King and J.A. weren't part of the same party. J.A. was a Tory, while King was a Grit.
That's splitting hairs though. I'm down with comparing the two. So how did you feel they were similar? Overall I'd say J.A. was a trail-blazer with big ambitions, and wasn't afraid to take a chance on big projects, whereas King's strength was more being able to react to what was popular opinion in his time.
Were there specific points where you felt the two were similar?

Gah candian. history. But ironicly this is what im doing in Socials and Nick is right. Macdonald took on big projects and didn't give up until he got what he wanted. Where King just whent with whatever was popular at the time.(Reminds me of current politicans) As much as I would actually like a responsible government that actually does shit. We are still Fucked.

A solution: vote new rhino, the humor would at least make the house of commons more interesting. I mean we may even get something like "Duck day, because we all want to pass a bill"

And I think we have the air superiority thing pretty well covered. Air force costs are pretty notorious for draining large portions of the budget, and I'm not sure why anyone is looking to spend $30 billion.
Also, I reserve my right to bitch. Our institutionalized two-party system can't agree on a goddamn budget... so don't nobody go saying that their democratic voice is useless. It could always be worse.
